John Never Disappoints
Even though Pedro The Lion wasn't feeling his best due to a strained back, he allowed the music to speak for itself. He picked a fortunate fan from the front row to apply Icy Hot to his back, which created an adorable moment. I was glad to see him reintroduce the horns, though I missed the two ladies who were background vocalists during his previous visit in March. David Ryan Harris, a guitarist and vocalist, added his cool swagger to the stage, doing a nice job. The band sounded great, as always, and I think the crowd showed Pedro much love. Despite his discomfort, he made an effort to move around the stage as he usually does, showing professionalism by giving his best. He appeared very appreciative and it was a fantastic night of music. I eagerly anticipate his next visit to Houston.
